چکیده
Abstract Given that patients who suffer from extremity malignancies are primarily young, the validation and refinement of management techniques for these type tumors appear essential. Prosthetic reconstruction has already been established as a reliable surgical procedure with lower limb bone neoplasms. Reconstruction allograft also considered viable treatment alternative patients, but evidence regarding comparison efficacy between is scarce. The aim this study to evaluate compare impact two procedures on gait parameters underwent tumor resection. Medline, Scopus, Cochrane databases were systematically scrutinized in January 2022. outcomes interest parameters. Four studies included our analysis, which three versus prosthetic knee (distal femur or proximal tibia) only one evaluated femur. Compared reconstruction, allografts non-significantly increased velocity (0.04 m/s; 95% CI: − 0.03, 0.10; I 2 = 0%) stride length (0.43% height; 3.50%, 4.36%; 27.7%), significantly cadence (4.12 stride/min; 1.40, 6.84; 0%), reduced stance time (− 0.57% cycle time; 1.16%, 0.02%; 0%). Our results highlight potential suggest it should not be neglected valid option substantial functional outcomes, comparable reconstructive procedures. Larger required validate conclusions.

متن کاملOutcomes in lower limb amputation following trauma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
INTRODUCTION Lower limb amputation (LLA) is life-changing surgery. Shorter residual limbs are known to place greater physiological strain on patients than longer residual limbs; however, there is ongoing debate as to whether through-knee amputations are preferable to above-knee amputations. This analysis aims to resolve this question by systematically collecting and pooling published and unpubl...
